Retro Release! Where are those sheep today?

We produced the musical Hidden Treasures:  A Musical Revue of the Parables of Jesus Christ  in 1996 1992 and then again in 2005.  The first production had – honest! – 100 children for the parable of the lost sheep.

The recording above is from the 2005 production and – with limited stage space – we weren’t able to squeeze in 100 kiddos.  In reviewing this recording, I’m amazed at the changes that can take place in under 10 years!  Where are all these kids now?

The Parable of the Lost Sheep is found in Luke 15:2-7.  There is a great, 2-minute video of the parable found here.  Even though I know the story, my heart leapt when I saw the lost sheep in this mini-movie!  This is a simple story with profound doctrine:  No one is forgotten.

The lyrics for this song, “The Strength of Thy Love”, are found here.

Our soloist in this clip is the talented Caitlyn Kester.  Thanks to all our sheep (and to the parents who transported them to rehearsals in the middle of a typical Wisconsin winter)!

If any of our (now out of town) sheep see this, please leave a comment and let me know what you’re up to now!  I would love to hear from you!
